Blair Heights Condominium

The Blair Heights Condominium is an attractive nine-story condominium building with two levels of below-grade parking newly constructed in Silver Spring, Maryland in late 2008. This new building utilizes a cast-in-place concrete structure with a brick and masonry cavity wall.

SRG was retained by the buidling's owner to act as their representative and to provide waterproofing and building envelope consulting services during the construction and installation of the building's foundation walls, facade and roofing systems.

Services provided by SRG on this project consisted of waterproofing design and consultation including construction observation services for the below-grade waterproofing, building envelope construction including weather barrier installation, window and door flashing installation and detailing, as well as installation of the hot rubberized asphalt roof membrane and associated flood testing.
