Lorena Gonzalez Michel joined Structura as a Senior Project Manager January 2020. She has over 12 years of engineering experience. Working in the rehabilitation consulting industry since 2008 as a staff engineer, Lorena became familiar with a number of trades, techniques, equipment, and workflow process. She brings an expertise in structures and structural components, including: parking garages, balconies, façades, wood-framed structures, retaining walls, steel structural elements, masonry, and concrete. Lorena works directly with the managers and owners of existing buildings to help propose practical and cost-effective techniques to minimize future maintenance needs and maximize building serviceability.
