The project at the Plaza del Mercado in Aspen Hill, MD included two main tenant/retail Improvements. The first involved various renovations and improvements to the existing strip retail stores at the shopping plaza, including renovations to the office area, canopy area, and corner tower area. The second part of our scope involved the design and construction of a new 18,500 SF ALDI grocery store on the grounds of the plaza. The new grocery store was built on a site that was demolished and is adjacent to an existing one story retail building to the West and a one story fitness facility to the East.
