Structura was retained by a rehabilitation contractor to prepare cost effective value engineered repair solutions to repair and reinforce numerous deteriorated precast prestressed concrete quad-tees at the parking garage at Iverson Mall.  As the specialty design engineer for the project, Structura and prepared shoring drawings, value engineered repair details, along with formal calculation packages for submission of the engineer of record.

The project also included load testing to verify the adequacy of the performed repairs. Structura developed load testing procedures, administered the load testing, oversaw the load testing, and monitored the precast quad-tees during the testing.  With the value engineered repair approach, the project was completed more effectively and in less time.
