This project encompassed the design and construction of a new senior housing residence in the historic town of Kensington, MD.  Built on behalf of McCaffery Interests and Solera Senior Living, Modena Reserve at Kensington spans across five levels and boasts a total of 135 luxurious units catering to assisted living, independent living, and memory care residents.

In addition to the new construction, we worked on the historic renovation of two existing single-story retail buildings that were situated along the eastern boundary of the site. The preservation efforts allowed these structures to retain their original character while seamlessly connecting to the new building, in turn harmonizing the old with the new.
