New Town is the densification of NASA’s oldest research center in Hampton, Virginia. NASA Administrative Office Building I is the first of a 12-year, six building modernization program otherwise known as New Town at NASA’s Langley Research Center. The structure was designed under UFC 4-010-01 DOD Minimum Anti-Terrorism Standards for Buildings and UFC 4-023-03 Design of Buildings to Resist Progressive Collapse. NASA Administrative Office Building I is a 75,000 gross SF, three story, all glass and metal panel building.
