Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering minimum 4 years of experience in structural engineering design
• Strong oral and written communication skills are critical * Proficient in Revit / AutoCAD
• Experience with a variety of design and modeling programs including Bentley products (RAM Steel, RAM Concept, Elements etc)
• Must have experience designing with a variety of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).

Job Description

Structura, Inc.is seeking an engineer with at least four years of building design experience to support its new office in Richmond, VA. The position requires the ability to work on a wide range of engineering projects and play a prominent role in the firm’s local business development efforts. Proficiency with design and modeling programs including Revit, AutoCAD, RAM concept, RAM Steel etc. is necessary. Experience with both new and existing structures is preferred. Candidate will work with team members from other offices on select projects and work independently on others. Communication and networking skills will play a prominent role in the position. Versatility and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously are necessary.
