Structura provided comprehensive structural engineering services as the engineer of record for this multi-family residential development in East Baltimore’s Highlandtown arts district. Our scope of work included the design and analysis of the building's structural systems, ensuring the safe integration of the five-story framework with the mixed-use ground floor and underground parking levels. This involved coordinating with the design team to optimize the structural layout while accommodating various building functions.

The project’s structural design included a combination of reinforced concrete, steel framing, and masonry to support the building's load requirements and meet local code regulations. Structura was responsible for designing the foundation system, including the underground parking garage, and ensuring that the structure provided adequate support for the residential and commercial spaces above. Additionally, we worked closely with the architectural and MEP teams to integrate key elements such as openings, clear spans, and utility provisions without compromising structural integrity. The result was a well-coordinated design that met both functional and aesthetic goals, contributing to the community’s revitalization.
