A neighborhood on the verge of a major renaissance, Remington is located at the foot of Johns Hopkins University, with easy access to Interstate 83 and located between the popular Baltimore neighborhoods of Charles Village and Hampden.

As its next step in redeveloping the Remington corridor, Seawall Development Company is demolishing all existing structures on the 2700 block of Remington Avenue in order to build a new neighborhood anchor. Designs for the new project call for 108 loft-style apartments, 14,000 SF of urban retail, 30,000 SF of office space targeted towards non-profits and two levels of underground parking for residents plus one level of at-grade parking for retail visitors.

When finished, the new building will reflect the aesthetic of Seawall’s other adaptive reuse mill and factory projects in the neighborhood, with industrial windows and historic-looking brick as a nod to the buildings’ 1800’s roots.
