The Wedge at Courtyard Lofts was one of seven existing buildings in downtown Richmond, VA. As part of a revitalization program, the building was stabilized, rehabilitated and renovated. Located at 14th and East Main, today the “Wedge” sports one of the world’s narrowest main entrances at only 7’ 10’’ wide and appears as it once did 130 years ago. The historic building’s façade was revived with Italianate and Renaissance Revival style architecture and features arched windows and is decorated with detailed cornices.
